Onamet forecasts showers for tomorrow Friday

Onamet pronostica chubascos para mañana viernes

The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) reported today that for tomorrow, Friday, a trough associated with a frontal system will be approaching the territory, so it will begin to generate a change in weather conditions at the local level, forecasting some showers in the early hours of the day over different towns on the south coast.

Meanwhile, in the afternoon we will observe cloudy increases accompanied by scattered downpours with isolated thunderstorms and possible gusts of wind over different towns in the northeast, southeast, Central Mountain Range and the border area. These precipitations will also decrease gradually at the beginning of the night, forecasting scattered clouds and little precipitation.

In hot temperatures, the Onamet recommended avoiding exposure for prolonged periods to direct sunlight without proper protection, mainly during the hours of 11:00 am and 4:00 pm, in addition, stay hydrated by drinking enough water, wear light-colored clothing.

North Santo Domingo: Little cloudiness.

West Santo Domingo: Little cloudiness.

Santo Domingo East: Clear sky.

Greater Santo Domingo: Maximum temperature between 31 °C and 33 °C, minimum between 23 °C and 25 °C.
