On the first day of July, Santa Cruz breaks a new record so far in the fifth wave and a deceased is recorded

Covid-19 infections in Santa Cruz break a record again in this fifth wave, with 787 new cases registered this Friday, July 1, which are distributed in 10 of the 15 provinces of the department. The highest figure had been recorded last Wednesday, when infections amounted to 733.

After several weeks, the Headquarters report records a death because of this disease.

Meanwhile, the number of vaccinated reached 4,321 on this first day of the month. According to the epidemiological report, 58% of the population already has their first anticovid dose, while 47%, the second; 16%, the third dose and the same percentage, the fourth dose.
