A fire was registered at the end of the afternoon of this Sunday, May 22, at the Cardón refinery, which is part of the Paraguaná refining complex, in Punto Fijo, Falcón state.
Presumably, it could be a pool of debris that caught fire and caused alarm in the vicinity.
According to digital media, workers in the area were evacuated from the site so that firefighters could do their job of putting out the flames.
The inhabitants of Punta Cardón in the Paraguaná peninsula, felt when the fire spread throughout the place. So far, no authority has ruled on the matter.
