The national director of Agrifood Safety and Quality of the National Service of Agrifood Health and Quality (Senasa), Alejandro Fernández, explained that the new chopping system for the retail marketing of meat vaccine will start next Tuesday, November 1st.

The new marketing scheme was announced in April 2021 through a joint resolution of the then Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries; Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Productive Development.

In the same sense, the chambers associated with the Federation of Regional Meat Processing Industries (Fifra) announced that tomorrow they will not receive finances and that “there will be no slaughter activity or distribution of meat from Tuesday due to the validity of the regulations regarding the chopping and the lack of authorization to use mechanical means for unloading”.
