The Electoral Court (TE) made official the date of Sunday, May 22 for the Constitutive Convention of the Movement Another Path (MOCA), an event in which its first National Board of Directors (JDN) will be chosen.

The TE published in its newsletter the official summons to the national leaders of Movimiento Otro Camino (MOCA) to attend the National Convention of the political movement.

It was also provided that with the internal elections held on April 3, the candidacies for the JDN must be organized by payroll, each with candidates for the 28 positions specified in article 54 of the MOCA statutes.

These include positions for: The Presidency; 1st. Vice presidency; 2nd. Vice presidency; General Secretary; 1st; Secretary General; 2nd. Secretary General; Finance Secretary; Undersecretary of Finance; Secretariat of Organization, Logistics and Mobilization; Undersecretary of Organization, Logistics and Mobilization; Secretary of Communication; Undersecretary of Communication; Environment Secretary; Undersecretary of Environment.

Likewise, it includes the Secretariat of Original Peoples; Undersecretary of Native Peoples; Secretariat of Afro-descendants; Undersecretariat for Afro-descendants; Women’s Secretariat; Undersecretary for Women; Youth Secretariat; Undersecretary of Youth; Secretariat for Legal Affairs, Records and Correspondence; Undersecretary for Legal Affairs, Records and Correspondence; Executive Secretary; Executive Undersecretary; Secretariat for people with disabilities; and Undersecretary for people with disabilities.

According to the calendar prepared by the TE for this process, the lists must strictly comply with the principle of parity and be submitted to the National Directorate of Electoral Organization on Monday, April 18 or Tuesday, April 19, in order to verify that its members comply with the the established requirements.
