On March 20 and 21, the San Miguelito Homicide and Femicide Prosecutor’s Office will be carrying out proceedings to establish, through videos, the route used by the alleged murderers of the former deputy director of the Public Registry, Agustín Lara, who was shot dead on November 14. of 2021.
This was announced by lawyer Benito Mojica, legal representative of Sebastián Gonzáles Sánchez, a 23-year-old citizen of Colombian nationality, arrested and charged with primary accomplice and attempted homicide to the detriment of Lara, since he was allegedly driving the motorcycle that transported the hit man .
The lawyer explained that in these proceedings the Public Ministry will try to locate through the camera system the exact place where the motorcycle was at the time of the event, a route that was established between Los Andes and El Crisol.
Mojica claims the presumption of innocence and maintains the position that his client is not the person to whom the act is attributed (having driven the motorcycle that transported the hit man who murdered the former deputy director of the Public Registry).
Sebastián González Sánchez was provisionally detained on November 16, 2021 and was charged with primary accomplice and attempted homicide to the detriment of the former director of the Public Registry, Agustín Lara, who was shot dead while on the Los Andes 2 court. at a registration day for the Democratic Revolutionary Party (PRD).
At this time, this case remains in the investigation phase. Once it is over, the case will go to the intermediate phase, which would be the presentation of the indictment where the evidence presented by the parties will be discussed and the date on which the accused will be brought before an Oral Trial Court will be set.
