“Barely 94 years and those that are to come, that’s why in six years, we will have to celebrate the 100 years of its foundation, from the place that corresponds to us. To the powerful, to the grandiose and invincible PRI, and we are going to celebrate from the Presidency of the Republic. From the National Palace”, he exclaimed between expressions of joy and support.
In a Plutarco Elías Calles Auditorium, which was attended by governors, ex-governors, legislators, members of the different sectors and organizations of the party, as well as the candidate for governor of Mexico, Alejandra del Moral, Moreno Cárdenas pointed out that the Constitution and democracy they don’t touch each other.
For this reason, he endorsed all his party’s support for the National Electoral Institute (INE), the Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judiciary (TEPJF) and the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN).
In addition, he took the opportunity to send a message to President Andrés Manuel López Obrador: “tell the Executive that the Legislative and Judiciary are a Power, we are not employees of power. We are here to generate the balances, weights and counterweights in the people of Mexico”.
He also asked all the militants and their cadres to support the governments at the door, because before 2024, “the victories of 2023 must be consolidated, with Del Moral and Manuel Jiménez, in Coahuila.”
