On February 17, 2025, the “Toco” Castillo stadium in Veraguas will be inaugurated

Pandeportes, in coordination with the Panamanian Football Federation (FPF) and the Panamanian Football League (LPF), informs citizens that the inaugural match and event of the Arístocles “Toco” Castillo stadium, initially scheduled for date 1 of the Apertura Tournament of the LPF, will be rescheduled for February 17 on matchday 5 of the tournament.

This decision is made due to a delay in the arrival of the filling material (sand and rubber) essential for the installation of the stadium’s synthetic grass. This delay was caused by the recent rains and floods that affected the city of Valencia, Spain, which caused delays in shipment departures from its port.

Pandeportes, together with the FPF and the LPF, reiterates its commitment to transparency, announcing this adjustment, which is necessary to ensure that the stadium is completely completed and meets the highest international standards.

The objective is to guarantee a top-level sporting experience, both for the players and the audience, and to offer a spectacle worthy of a stadium that is a source of pride for Santiago and the entire country.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support, as we continue to work with dedication to deliver a sporting arena of excellence.
