The national government decided to grant holidays to the personnel of the national public administration on days December 23 and 30 of 2022 on the occasion of the holidays of Christmas and New Year.
This was communicated through decree 820/2022published this Monday in the Official Gazette.
Within this framework, “the various agencies were instructed to implement the necessary measures in order to maintain the continuity of essential services.”
Likewise, it was clarified that “this measure does not apply to banking institutions and financial entities.”
“The Christmas and New Year festivities are, traditionally, a reason for celebrations for all the families that live in our territory”, and to “facilitate the classic family gatherings that take place on said dates, it is considered appropriate to allow the approach of who, for various reasons, live far from their loved ones”, argues the decree signed by President Alberto Fernández, the Chief of Staff, Juan Manzur; and the Minister of the Interior, Eduardo de Pedro.
With this objective, the provision of the National Executive Branch concludes, “it is considered convenient to grant administrative holidays on December 23 and 30 of the current year.”
