The president of the Republic, Jair Bolsonaro, participated in the closing ceremony of the meeting of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce. The meeting served to debate new commercial partnerships.
Bahrain exports to Brazil mainly ores, chemicals, iron and oil. In Brazil, sales are mainly concentrated in the agribusiness area, with emphasis on meats and grains. By the end of this year, Brazil should become Bahrain’s main source of iron ore imports, surpassing China and the United States.
The advance in trade between the two nations has made Bahrain the fourth destination for Brazilian exports in the Middle East, after Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.
At the close of his visit to Bahrain, President Jair Bolsonaro attended a ceremony at the King Hamad Global Center for Peaceful Coexistence. The aim of the center is to promote freedom of religion and harmonious, respectful and peaceful coexistence between all faiths.
