On a cold night, 26 people slept in the SEN shelter

The coordinator of the SEN, Rubén Cuevas, reported that 26 people arrived last night at the shelter located on Manduvirá and Ayolas.

“At night we rescue people, they go mobile through complaints, we invite them to come to the shelter and if they don’t want we distribute mattresses, blankets, some don’t want to come,” Cuevas said in an interview with Gen.

In addition to a comfortable space to sleep, guests receive food (breakfast, lunch and dinner), hygiene items, hairdressing service and health care.

“We have an infirmary at night and the support of the Barrio Obrero Hospital,” explained the coordinator. As far as possible, they are also given outfits to change into. Due to this, the donation of coats is requested, in order to assist the needy.
