OMT reports that the Metro is now operating normally

The Metropolitan Transportation Office (OMT), formerly Opret, reported this Monday afternoon that the Santo Domingo Metro after the intermittencies that the service presented, due to the general blackout that affects the country.

Joel Isadirector of the entity, made the advertisement through a video which shows him riding one of the carriages of the Metro. It was not specified which of the two lines it corresponds to. Several passengers boarded the car with him.

Measures to guarantee the security of the service

The official said that from now on the service will be offered free of charge. The entity said that the video was carried out at 5:21 in the afternoon.
