Likewise, it maintained that, despite the fact that the norm indicates that the investigations must be reserved, it has to weigh according to the principles and rights “that are the basis of a democratic constitutional system, such as the principles of transparency and maximum publicity of State actions”.

Finally, the The Ombudsman’s Office requested the Executive Power to discard the presentation of that initiative and that promotes the approval of regulations that ensure journalistic work.
