The members of the National Evaluation Commission by the Ombudsman’s Office to choose the representatives of transport users before the board of directors of the Land Transit and Transport Authority (ATTT) have already been appointed by the Ombudsman, Eduardo Leblanc González informed the national director of Legal Advice, Christiaan Miranda.
Miranda explained that this is one of the answers contained in a note signed by the Ombudsman and delivered to the representatives of the Coordinating Commission of the Transport Association, who had requested him by letter to let them know how the process was going. to this end.
The national director of Legal Advice said that the note also informs them that on Thursday, March 24 at 10:00 am, at the ATTT headquarters they will be received by the director of the institution, Carlos Ordóñez, after the request presented before the Ombudsman Leblanc so that an approach could be arranged to evaluate various issues such as the increase in the rate of the collective transport service without any authorization.
The representatives of the Transport Association meeting with Miranda and the Human Rights Officer, Edwin Wald, reiterated their interest in having personnel from the Ombudsman’s Office present.
