After information circulated about the charging of the parking lots of the Omar Recreational and Cultural Park, the administration of this park issued a statement clarifying that there is no current measure for charging for the use of parking lots.
In the statement they explained that, although it is true, Executive Decree number 236 of October 4, 2022, in numeral 10 of article 17, establishes the possibility of implementing a rate regime for the Omar park parking lots for cars that remain more than 2 continuous hours in the parking lot has not yet been defined When the charge for this service comes into effect.
In addition to this, the administration of the Omar park explained that this possibility was established since the users of the park had complained of not finding available parking due to the abuse of some people who leave their vehicles all day to go to work in nearby places. outside the park, occupying the spaces intended for its users.
They detailed that as an administration they will continue to work for the benefit of the users of the Omar park.
