An older adult with visual disabilities was injured by falling into a ditch approximately two meters deep, part of the basic sanitation works that are executed in the district of Vilca, province of Huancavelica.

The accident occurred in a stretch of the road where the excavation lacked signaling, security tape or protective barriers. According to witnesses, the woman walked through the way when, not warning the danger, she fell directly to the hole.
Family and neighbors denounced that it is not the first time that a similar event occurs, animals also fell to the hole being affected, accused the district mayor of not guaranteeing security measures, noting that animals have also fallen.
