The Collegiate of the Superior Court of Justice of Huancavelica decided to sentence Alberto José MC (64) to life imprisonment for the crime against sexual freedom, in the form of rape, to the detriment of a minor.

Prosecutor Fabián Valdivia accused him of having abused a minor twice: when the victim was 8 years old and when she was 14 years old.
LIFE IMPRISONMENT FOR THE ELDERLY
The representative of the Public Ministry raised the accusation based on the complaint made by the family of the aggrieved minor.
In 2013, when the victim was 8 years old, she was grazing her cattle in a pasture that was more than 300 meters away from the defendant’s house.
It was after 08:00 hours when the defendant approached the girl wanting to hug her, where the minor asked for help and ran in the direction of her home, but the defendant managed to catch up with her and then take her to a farm and abuse her.
After committing the crime, the defendant leaves the victim at the scene and threatens her so that she would not say what happened. The fact was observed by a neighbor who lives nearby.

Likewise, in the month of May 2019, when the minor was 14 years old, the second harassment occurred, after the accused helped the minor in the farm.
For its part, the technical defense alleged the innocence of the accused and requested the Collegiate that the older adult be acquitted.
After evaluating the arguments of the procedural parties, the judges of the Collegiate decided to sentence the older adult with the maximum penalty.
Likewise, they ordered the Police to immediately locate and capture the sentenced person.
It should be noted that the sentence can be appealed within the period established by law.
The Collegiate for this case was made up of magistrates Hernán Pozo, Amparo Fernández and Kati Jurado (director of debates).
