Petrobras brought some operational highlights such as, in September, the unprecedented milestone in Brazil of 3 billion barrels of oil and accumulated production achieved by the Tupi Shared Deposit and the Iracema area.

The executive assesses the results as solid and consistent and above sector expectations. “Results that exceeded the best market expectations. Last quarter, we had strong cash flow both due to oil exploration and production and refining, natural gas. In this quarter, therefore, what we are reaffirming is the success of the choices we made. We have debt at the lowest level since 2008. Today, we are responsible for generating 31% of all primary energy in our country”, he highlighted.

The FPSO (floating production, storage and transfer unit) Sepetiba, in the Mero 2 field, reached peak production less than eight months after coming into operation, contributing to a record for total pre-salt operated production of 3.49 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed).

The company also celebrated the entry into operation of the FPSO Maria Quitéria in the Jubarte field on October 15th and the FPSO Marechal Duque de Caxias in the Mero field on October 30th.
