The Government Office of Information and Communication Technologies (OGTIC) reported this Monday that it supported the first competence of aviation ‘I want to be a pilot‘, with the aim of continuing to focus on the training of human talent, as established by the 2030 Innovation Policy.
‘I want to be a pilot‘is a program that trains young people in areas of aviation. Likewise, it trains them for careers STEMpromoting innovationinclusion and sustainable development of the country.
According to a press release. Bartolome Pujalsgeneral director of the OGTIC and executive director of the Digital Innovation and Development Cabinet, expressed that the entity’s support in this project reaffirms its commitment to betting on the growth and development of young Dominicans and the promotion of careers STEM.
The first place winner of the contest is Ian Baeza 20-year-old young man who works in a call center and has dedicated himself to learning aviation self-taught. Ian’s prize is a scholarship to take the aviator pilot course at the School of Aviation Enalas.
