Officialism sees intervention in Guaira as “political tightening”

The governor of Guairá, Juan Carlos Vera, stated for Radio Ñanduti that the intervention request to the Government is a political tightening of the ruling party and a persecution, especially by some deputies who would be interested in occupying the position, specifically the deputy Édgar Noguera. He also assured that the internal audit produced acceptable results, so that in his opinion there were no administrative faults.

This Wednesday the Chamber of Deputies will deal in an ordinary session with the request for intervention from the administration of the governor of Guairá, Juan Carlos Vera, denounced for alleged misuse of Covid-19 funds. Vera assured that there is no property damage and that from the official sector they are operating against him since he switched to Chartism.
