Official spokesman denigrates exile for the protests during the last game of TeamAsere

Vocero oficialista, Cuba

Havana Cuba. – Much has hurt the Cuban regime and its spokesmen the defeat of the Island team in the World Baseball Classic. Among the many reactions appreciated on social networks, that of the journalist Abdiel Bermúdez has drawn attention for his virulent attack on Cuban emigration.

In his facebook post, the Castro clerk began by lamenting the defeat and the bad job of the Cuban pitching player, who “did water,” according to his words. He also acknowledged that the beating was monumental.

“It was known that we were not favorites this time, but I confess that I did not think that they would hit us so hard. Not at the rate of the knockout (14-2), which in this instance is not marked. And we lost”.

What up to that point could be interpreted as the heartfelt message of a Cuban fan, changed its tone to become a frontal attack against those who went to the stadium to make visible the reality of Cuba, which state spokesmen refuse to acknowledge.

“… The pressure (or visceral hatred) was also felt from the fans of anti-Cuban politics who, like hell (…) once again showed that you can be sorry and disgusting at the same time,” he said.

He continued his insults alluding to the opposition posters that, despite the efforts of the Cuban Television cameraman, could not be ignored. He also referred to the Cuban who yelled against the dictatorship from the stands, as “a crazy woman who went berserk at the height of the seventh inning”.

He also spoke about certain episodes “that the TV cameras did not capture (…) Something ugly, for sure, that was repeated in the 8th.”

The aforementioned moments that paralyzed the game were carried out by Cubans who jumped onto the field with posters and flags to give voice, once again, to the political prisoners and demand the freedom of Cuba.

Bermúdez continued with the rhetoric of turning the setback into victory, describing Cuba’s performance as “a great result”, and closed by stating that “hope was born again in a people eager for good news. Hand in hand with unity, joy and inclusion…”

In the comments, netizens responded to him bluntly, refreshing his memory by the way. “Hand in hand with unity, with inclusion? Let’s see, mijito, what did you smoke? He Granma It comes rolled up, but it’s not tobacco, don’t smoke that,” user Luis Enrique Alonso snapped.

“You are very young and you did not have to see and listen to the treatment that the ‘Revolution’ gave to those who deserted from any sports team. I was a child and I could feel the hate in the comments of that Cuban Television (…). Many of those who were in that stadium received the acts of repudiation (…). It would be nice if those same athletes who felt the pressure informed the government how much the repudiation hurts,” Alexis Saavedra clarified in another comment.
