The former coordinator of Women’s Penitentiaries, Ana Dina Coronel, showed the messages she sent to the then Minister of Justice Édgar Olmedo, about the whereabouts of Óscar Denis and Félix Urbieta, through data provided by an inmate.
In an interview with the Gen-Nación Media channel, the prison official, Ana Dina Coronel, showed some of the messages sent to Édgar Olmedo at the end of May, until a few days ago, Minister of Justice.
“Good afternoon, Minister. I got information, I already told Director Artemio on Monday, I’ll pass them on so they can analyze what to do, whether to go to the family or to the FTC. If they think it might be true. And something else about those who have an arrest warrant”, expressed the first message of May 27 to Minister Olmedo, who answered five minutes later “Good afternoon. Excellent”.
The following WhatsApp conversation between Coronel and Olmedo appears on June 5. In the text, the official reiterates that she has already informed the director Artemio, but that she also informed him that she requested five days of leave and that she instructed the directors and coordinators to “contain everything.”
