They are Maira Carolina Totaitive and her eldest son Juan Eduardo, 15 years old. Both would have been murdered with a firearm by the woman’s husband and at the same time the adolescent’s stepfather.

The alleged perpetrator was identified as Jairo AGV, who would be an active official of the Yopal Prosecutor’s Office.
This 53-year-old man is hospitalized under a reserved prognosis at the Orinoquía Regional Hospital, after attempting on his life with a firearm after allegedly committing the double murder.
She was Carolina Totaitive, a woman who was murdered along with her 15-year-old son at the hands of her sentimental partner in #Yopal.

According to local media Pauto News, the alleged aggressor has a history of domestic violence.
In addition, he indicates that he has been working in the investigative entity since 2012 as a “security agent.”
It was learned that two other minors who were at the scene were protected and are in the custody of the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF).
On the other hand, it was learned that María Carolina was an employee of the ESE SALUD Yopal, where she enjoyed the affection of her co-workers.
