Edgardo Alzamora Barrantes, president of the bidding committee for the contracting of educational services in an initial institution, warned the Institutional Control Body (OCI) that his signature was forged in order to, allegedly, direct a project in the Regional Directorate of Education of Piura.
On August 21, Alzamora Barrantes, president of the bidding committee for the contracting of the execution of the service “Adequacy, maintenance and remodeling of the educational services of the Learning Resources Center in Early Childhood Education – CREI Province of Piura – II Stage”, sent Letter No. 006- 2024 / CSCP, MEMBER. Likewise, Alzamora sent Letter No. 009-2024 / CSCP, MEMBER to the head of the Institutional Control Body (OCI) of the DREP, of the Comptroller General of the Republic, with the subject, where he details: “I report irregularities in the selection process”, in reference to the process for the execution of the service indicated above, to the regional director of Education of Piura (DREP), Wilmer Charly Gonzales Rojas.

There, he indicates that he is alerting about the alleged irregularities committed. In addition, since a change was made to the agreements made by the committee at the consultation resolution stage, “the same ones that have been modified without my consent,” he indicates.
“I hereby inform you that the aforementioned form for the resolution of observations and queries has been approved without my authorization, since I do not have the seals of the committee and they are in the possession of Ms. Sandra Bayona Sánchez, alternate member of the committee and in charge of uploading the information to the OSCE portal,” it states.
He said he had sent three more letters to the DREP regarding the alleged irregularities.
