Unofficial reports collected by EL DEBER show that the results of the micro-vacuuming of the 66 light aircraft sealed at the aerodrome La Cruceña, in the municipality of Cotoca, have already been completed and handed over to the authorities of the Special Force to Fight Drug Trafficking and the Controlled Substances Prosecutor’s Office.

It was learned that, after the expert reports carried out, at least 50 planes gave a negative result and 16 positive for cocaine.

The expertise was carried out by professional biochemical experts from the Center for Technical Research, Toxicology and Controlled Substances Scientists, (Citecs), dependent on the Police. Experts from the IDIF Institute of Forensic Investigations, dependent on the Attorney General’s Office, did not participate in this action, but only Police experts.

The result surprised prosecutors and some investigative agents of the Felcn; however, it is expected that the authorities will officially provide details of the micro-aspirate.

The vacuum work began on April 24 after a resolution issued by the commission of prosecutors of controlled substances, made up of Freddy Guzmán, Carlos Candia and Rubén Ordoñez.

The ships were intervened in a mega-operation carried out on March 27 at the aerodrome by anti-corruption police and the Felcn, even with the presence of the Minister of Government, Eduardo del Castillo, the departmental prosecutor Róger Mariaca and others. In this operation, in addition to sealing the 66 planes, 38 people were captured and sent to the Palmasola prison.

The March 27 operation took place after the Felcn revealed intelligence reports that on July 30, 2019, at the La Cruceña aerodrome, a mega-operation was carried out. Some twenty people were captured, including Bolivians and foreigners, in addition to kidnapping some 20 small planes, firearms, chemical substances, luxury motorized vehicles and other implements.

Even in this mega operation, the Felcn reports reveal that there was a crossfire between police and drug traffickers; however, on that occasion the national director of the Felcn was Colonel Maximiliano Dávila, who by his order annulled the operation and everything was annulled.

Likewise, the intelligence reports of the Felcn, They pointed out that it was detected that the planes were taking off from the aerodrome loaded with cocaine. of high purity to land on clandestine airstrips in Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina.

According to the Felcn, three of the planes hijacked on March 27 already had criminal records. These are license plates CP-2535, CP-2906 and CP-3084. The CP-2535fCaught with drugs on a track by Montero, she also fell with a shipment of cocaine during an operation in Santa Ana de Yacuma-Beni. The CP-2906 registers in two cases of transport of cocaine loads in Santa Cruz. The ship CP-3084 also appears to have been intercepted twice loaded with cocaine in Santa Cruz.

The authorities will officially inform this Monday of the results of the expert opinion that, according to preliminary reports, 50 planes out of 66 tested negative, the rest positive, so it causes concern.

The La Cruceña aerodrome, with 44 hangars, has been intervened and sealed since March 27 when the megaoperative was carried out.
