The Dominican Accreditation Organization (ODAC) highlighted the progress made in 2024 that strengthens confidence in the country’s products and services.
During the year, ten accreditations were granted to laboratories and inspection organizations, reinforcing the quality and competitiveness standards of the Dominican Republic.
Among those accredited are the Ballistics Laboratory of the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) and the National Water Quality Reference Laboratory of INAPA, which benefits key areas such as justice and environmental management.
These accreditations guarantee compliance with strict international regulations, improving the efficiency and reputation of the accredited sectors.
Likewise, these not only boost consumer confidence, but also facilitate access to international markets and promote the global competitiveness of Dominican products. The executive director of ODAC, Ángel David Taveras, said that these achievements are the result of teamwork and the institution’s commitment to excellence. “Each accreditation and each advance brings us closer to consolidating a quality system that benefits Dominicans and reinforces our international competitiveness,” he said.
