Ocampos contradicts Garcia Pimienta

Lucas Ocamposfootballer of the Seville transferred to Striped from Mexico, has exposed his former club and Xavier García Pimienta, his now ex-coach, who stated that the Argentine did not play the last two games due to an injury when, according to the footballer, the real reason for his absence was that the agreement between both clubs was already closed.

“I didn’t play the last two games with Sevilla because almost everything was already closed here. I’m really looking forward to being able to train, meet my teammates and the fans in that beautiful stadium,” said the Quilmes winger upon his arrival in Monterrey.

Sevilla have announced that Ocampos suffered a bruised knee in the match against Villarreal and that this has prevented him from being available for the matches against Mallorca and Girona. García Pimienta himself explained the reasons for his absence from the squad for the last match.

“It’s true that he’s not in the team because he has some discomfort. He couldn’t come to Mallorca, he tried to train on Wednesday or Thursday. He felt a little discomfort and even had to do some tests,” said the Barcelona player in the run-up to the match against Montilivi.
