MADRID, Spain.- After 15 years of absence, the iconic British band Oasis will reunite for a series of concerts in the summer of 2025. Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, known as much for their musical talent as for their notorious disputes, put their differences behind them and have announced the long-awaited reunion of the group through a audiovisual message on their social networks.

The announcement, which has generated enormous expectations among their fans, was made on Tuesday, August 27, when the Gallaghers published a video in which they confirmed the reunification of Oasis. In the message, the brothers from Manchester declared: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come and see it. It will not be televised.”

The tour, which will be their first joint tour since their split in 2009, will include stops in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin, as previously announced. The tour will kick off in Cardiff on July 4 and 5, the band will then move on to Manchester, where they will play four shows at Heaton Park on July 11, 12, 19 and 20. Oasis will then travel to London for a performance at Wembley Stadium on July 25 and 26, as well as August 2 and 3. They will then travel to Scotland to play at Edinburgh’s Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium on August 8 and 9. Finally, they will close their tour in Dublin with two shows at Croke Park on August 16 and 17. However, as the date approaches, more cities are expected to be added to the list, including outside of Europe. Tickets for these concerts will be available from this date. Saturday 31st August, and massive demand is anticipated from fans, many of whom have waited more than a decade to see Oasis live again.

Oasis, one of the most influential bands of the 90s, rose to fame with her debut album Definitely Maybe in 1994, followed by the monumental (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? in 1995. With hits such as “Wonderwall”, “Don’t Look Back in Anger” and “Champagne Supernova”, the group defined an era and became a symbol of Brit Pop culture. However, despite their success, tensions between the Gallagher brothers were always present, culminating in an abrupt split in 2009 following a heated argument before a concert in Paris.

Since then, both Liam and Noel have pursued solo careers with moderate success, but fans have long hoped for a band reunion. Rumours of a possible reunion have circulated for years, but until now, the two brothers had insisted there was no reconciliation.
