The general secretary of the Organization of American States (OAS)Luis Almagro, spoke about the current situation that the country is going through and stressed that there must be dialogue between the powers of the State to achieve stability in the democratic system.
In a short statement from government palaceafter meeting with the President peter castleAlmagro pointed out that the joint work between the Executive, Legislative and Judicial Powers is something that Peruvians need.
“Peru can contribute a lot and we saw the president committed to the best management of Agriculture so that it is a national response within Peru, but also within the hemisphere itself”, he stated.
“All this requires the stability of the democratic system and this also requires dialogue between the institutions, dialogue between the powers of the Statethe best coordination, the best joint work, which is definitely something that Peruvians want and that Peruvians need”, he added.
In that sense, the OAS Secretary General He said that such dialogue becomes essential, since it is a political construction that can also improve the future of the continent.
“That political dialogue that is the first support of democracy and the first symptom of stability of the democratic system is becoming more and more necessary, more essential.
