The Permanent Council of the OAS will hold the meeting this Wednesday, July 31 at 3:00 p.m. in the Simón Bolívar Room at the institution’s headquarters in Washington, DC, according to a statement release.

The meeting will take place at the request of 12 member countries, including the United States, Canada, Guatemala and Argentina.

So far, the OAS has not commented on the electionsamid demands from countries in the region that the Maduro regime show transparency in the results that allegedly proclaim him the winner.

He also assured that the United States and the international community will be closely monitoring this and will respond accordingly.

The United States Embassy in Venezuela and the Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs of the United States, Brian A. Nichols, they echoed from Blinken’s words.

This Monday, the Venezuelan regime expelled from the country “immediately” the diplomatic personnel of Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Peru, Panama, the Dominican Republic and Uruguay, after the request of these nations for greater clarity after the counting of votes, amid appearances by the opposition that claim to have verified the proceedings which demonstrate Edmundo González’s victory.
