Between January and September, 7,844 companies were registered exporterswhich meant a growth of 4.5% compared to the same period last year, revealed the Exporters Association (ADEX).

Microenterprises had the highest participation with 58.5% of the total, followed by small companies with 32.4%, large companies with 6.7% and medium-sized companies with 2.4%.
The union specified that by FOB amount, 92.9% of shipments abroad were carried out by large companies, while 4.7% by small companies, 1.9% by medium-sized companies and 0.5% by micro companies.
The highest stock of companies by sector corresponded to agribusiness (2,114). Then there were metalworking (1,713), chemicals (1,352), miscellaneous (1,351), clothing (1,045), mining (1,060), textiles (516), iron and steel (504), non-metallic mining (428), traditional agriculture ( 348), fishing and aquaculture (271), wood (190), hydrocarbons (42) and primary fishing (41)”, the union specified.
Regarding destinations, 53.7%, that is, 4,216 businesses, exported to a single country, 35.9% between two and five countries, 5.2% between six and nine and 5.2% (404) to 10 or more.
In relation to origin, Lima was the one with the largest number of companies (4,876), followed by Puno (885), Callao (563), Piura (502) and Ica (447). On the contrary, Apurímac, Moquegua and Amazonas registered 18, 24, and 26, respectively.
