In the midst of the efforts made by the Government to contain the sharp rise in prices, this Friday they will officially launch the program now 30which seeks to encourage the consumption of household appliances.
President Alberto Fernández confirmed that, with the now 30, appliances can be purchased in up to 30 fixed installments. The Government also confirmed that the products offered in the program they will be of low consumption, in order to promote savings.
through the now 30, 50, 55 and 58-inch televisions with 4K technology can be purchased, as well as low-consumption air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines and cell phones.
As part of the initiative that advances the program, the prices of the products will also be frozen for a period of 90 days; For its part, the interest rates will be 48% per year, according to the Ministry of Commerce.
In addition, the articles will have a funding cap. In the case of cell phones, those that do not exceed $120,000 can be purchased, while for household appliances it is estimated that the ceiling will reach about $200,000.
Some of the participating brands are: Motorola, Xiaomi, Noblex and Samsung. It should be remembered that, through this program, local production is also encouraged, since the products offered are all produced in the country.
The administration of Program It will be in charge of the Ministry of Commerce, led by Matías Tombolini, and will be in force until the end of this year, which will boost sales in the sector during the last quarter.

The president also announced that, starting in November, Now 42 will come into effect.a plan specially designed for retirees nationwide, so they can buy appliances and cell phones.
The campaign will work the same as Now 30, with the difference that the financing term will be 42 months; that is to say, that you can buy appliances and cell phones at 42 fixed installments with a rate of 48%.
