Riaan Naude, a famous South African hunter, was found shot in the head on a road in the Limpopop region.
According to reports from local authorities, a group of armed individuals would be responsible for the death of the hunter, who used to take photos with the animals he killed.
After the news was known, many photos of the hunter with his victims, especially lions, were published on social networks. Naude was notorious for killing hundreds of animals throughout the South African region.
Local media report that Naude had a problem with his truck and when he stopped to check it, he was attacked by an armed group.
The authorities are investigating the reason for the attack, but they do not rule out a settling of accounts by groups that defend animals.
