The Private Technological University of Santa Cruz (UTEPSA) has been the scene of a significant day of solidarity and altruism with the blood donation campaign “It’s not just heroes who save lives.” This noble initiative, organized by the UTEPSA University Social Responsibility (RSU) team, took place on the morning of June 20 and saw the participation of approximately 100 students committed to the cause.

The campaign has been a success, managing to collect a considerable amount of blood units destined for the Caja Petrolera de Salud and the Santa Cruz Regional Blood Bank. The massive participation of the students not only demonstrates their social awareness and commitment, but also the spirit of solidarity that characterizes the UTEPSA university community.

The day began early in the morning, with students, health personnel and volunteers ready to receive the donors. The young people, motivated by the campaign motto, showed their willingness to contribute to this vital cause, understanding that their gesture can make a difference in the lives of many people.

The UTEPSA MSW team expressed its gratitude to all participants and collaborators, highlighting the importance of these actions for the well-being of the community. “Every donation counts and can save lives. We greatly appreciate our students for their generosity and everyone who has made this campaign possible,” the organizers mentioned.

The university authorities also highlighted the educational and human value of this initiative, emphasizing that training professionals committed to their society is one of the fundamental pillars of UTEPSA.

The bell “Not only heroes save lives“is an example of how Collaboration and a sense of responsibility can generate a significant positive impact. Thanks to the blood donated today, many people will have another chance at life, and that is something that deserves to be recognized and celebrated.
