What cars can’t circulate this Thursday?
According to the official calendar must remain uncirculated:
-Vehicles with green stickers
-Cars with plates ending in 1 or 2
-Vehicles with hologram 1 or 2
If your vehicle falls into one of these cases, it is best to leave it at home and consider options such as public transportation, bicycle or shared rides.

They are exempt from Hoy No Circula:

-Electric or hybrid cars

Will there be a Double Not Circulating Today?
No. For this Thursday there is no environmental contingency, so Double Today Not Circulating will not be applied. Only the usual restriction will be in force.

Hoy No Circula operates in the 16 municipalities of Mexico City and in the following Mexican municipalities:

Additionally, in Toluca and Santiago Tianguistenco the measure applies from Monday to Saturday for vehicles with hologram 1 and 2 since July 1. However, the fines will begin to apply from January 1, 2026.
How much is the fine for non-compliance?
Ignoring the restriction can be expensive. The established penalty ranges from 20 to 30 Measurement and Update Units (UMA). By 2025, each UMA is equivalent to 113.14 pesos, so the fine ranges between 2,262 and 3,394 pesos, depending on the authority that applies it.
