On the morning of this Sunday, February 13, the north track of the El Dorado airport was closed for calibration jobs of the instrument landing system.

The estimates of the works indicated that there would be no delays in departures and arrivals of flights to and from the air terminal.
“The technical procedure was coordinated in advance with the airlines to adjust the itineraries“, reported the Civil Aeronautics (Aerocivil).

The entity also assured that it worked hand in hand with the airlines to minimize the impact that the situation could have on users.
However, and to avoid major problems, it was recommended “travelers to maintain permanent contact with their airlines to know the status of their itineraries“.
