“We are going to go to a reform in secondary laws, which cannot touch a good part of those issues, which are in the constitutional framework,” he said.
“We are not going to do what previous governments did, to move secondary legislation, contrary to what the constitutional framework says, to do, as some PRI presidents said, torment the Constitution; we are not going to do that. We will go as far as the secondary legislation reaches us, ”he indicated.
For this reason, although the PT stated that it does not agree to eliminate the ordinary public financing of political parties, but that its proposal is to reduce 60% and that it be distributed among all, it will support the presidential proposal, knowing that it will be rejected.
“I am sheep”
In this framework, members of Morena and the PT itself insisted that they go with the president’s proposal, although they did not know how to explain the reasons.
Present at the press conference were Fernández Noroña, Reginaldo Sandoval and Dionicia Vázquez, from the PT, and Susana Cano and Maximiano Barboza, from Morena, among others, who were questioned about why propose the disappearance of majority deputies and not of proportional representation or vice versa.
“The right insists on saying that we are ignorant, on calling us sheep. If that is being a sheep, to improve the country, I am a sheep,” said Cano, from Morena.
“All our lives they treat us like this (like sheep) because they are rich and we are not rich,” replied PT member Dionicia Vázquez.
