Normalizing the supply of missing dairy products in shelves will require at least two weeks

That’s what they said to The Observer Cooperative sources after this week, on Tuesday the 13th, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security (MTSS) signed the constitutive act of the scope of negotiation between the company and the Association of Workers and Workers of Conaprole (AOEC), for a period of 30 days during which the differences will be analyzed in order to reach a definitive solution.

During those 30 days, it is understood, there should be no obstacles to the normal reception of raw material from the dairy farms, its industrial processing and supply to the internal and external markets.

In fact, for several days the work in the sector of the Rodríguez plant (in San José) where the new ultra-pasteurized milk packaging plant is located has been carried out normally.

Conaprole has already resumed the transfer to the domestic market of some of the products from that packaging company’s line and estimates that before the end of the month the stock and distribution will return to normal, in some products in the short term and in others in two or three weeks.

The conflict in Conaprole has an active area of ​​negotiation, however there is another conflict, in this case in the Calcar company, which may lead to union measures in the short term.
