Chilpancingo, Gro., Students from the Ayotzinapa Normal School held a rally yesterday outside the local Congress to demand justice and the presentation of their 43 classmates who disappeared in Iguala on September 26 and 27, 2014. They also asked for justice for the murder of three young people.
Minutes after noon, groups of students set fire to five vehicles that were in the parking lot of the state legislature. Three of the vehicles were burned, while the other two were partially burned. In addition, some protesters broke the windows of four vehicles that were in the area. Civil Protection elements arrived at the area to put out the fire.
It is worth mentioning that yesterday, the local Congress hosted the celebrations that take place every September 13 on the occasion of the anniversary in which José María Morelos y Pavón promulgated in Chilpancingo the Feelings of the Nation (1984).
