In Barrancabermeja, Santander, a woman was apparently murdered by her romantic partner on the morning of Monday, September 30, in the Brisas de San Silvestre settlement. The victim was identified as Noralba Machuca, 46 years old.

Noralba suffered fatal injuries
After the attack, the neighbors became aware of the situation when they saw the woman lying outside her house, bathed in blood. Immediately, they called the firefighters to take her to a medical center; However, when they arrived, he was apparently already dead due to the serious injuries caused by his attacker, who after what happened had tried to harm himself.
“This occurred in the middle of a couple’s argument, where the subject attacked her with a machete and inflicted fatal injuries,” said Colonel Gisela Paz, commander of the Magdalena Medio Police.
Finally, the man was captured by the authorities and placed at the disposal of the competent authority.
