At the beginning of November, ATES denounced the absence of dialogue and anti-union practices on the part of the Secondary Directorate.
Within this framework, in the last hours the union leader Julián Cabrera told LARED21 that the union demands the reactivation of the bipartite instances, since the General Directorate of Secondary Education “flagrantly violates the Collective Bargaining Law.”
“We have not had a call for more than 12 months and at the time it was made clear that ATES would take the union measures it deems pertinent given the refusal of the Directorate to summon us to dialogue,” recalled the union leader.
He remarked that Secondary School made a commitment to the Ministry of Labor to convene a bipartite instance, which has not yet happened. Likewise, the president of the Central Board of Directors of the National Administration of Public Education, Robert Silva, ordered the Directorate to dialogue with the union, but this has not happened.
Alert
He said that the general director of the Secondary Education Council, Jenifer Cherro, has ignored the education authorities and the Ministry of Labor and this generates concern and alert to ATSS that has declared itself in conflict and does not rule out traveling the roads of fight set out in union tools.
