President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva criticized the idea manifested by Donald Trump, to remove the Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to turn it into a tourist riviera of rich people. “No one will make a beautiful place on thousands of corpses of women and children,” Lula said, commenting on the US president’s speech.
The statement was made on Thursday (6) during an interview with the metropolis and society radios, from Bahia. Lula reiterated criticism of the way Trump began his government, threatening annexations and occupations from other countries and territories – among which the Gaza Strip.
“He [Trump] He said they will treat the Palestinian people, as if the Palestinian people were no one, when, in fact, what they need to do in Palestine is to create the Palestinian state and decell that people, which cannot be treated as if it were garbage, ”, Lula said, in defending more humanist, fraternal, supportive and understanding attitudes, so that the world may have peace and people live with peace of mind.
According to the Brazilian President, what should be done is “taking care of those people, who deserves to be careful like any other people in the world” rather than occupying their territories and “throwing them anywhere to do, from there, a riviera ”.
