No more luxuries: ‘Chibolín’ shares a cell with three other inmates in the Lurigancho prison

No more luxuries. Andres Hurtado‘Chibolín’, now imprisoned in the Lurigancho prison, has said goodbye to his comforts and the opulence that he enjoyed in his daily life.

The television presenter now shares a cell with three inmates on the second floor of pavilion 5, in an area known as the “garden”, according to the Panorama program.

This wing houses inmates who have committed minor crimes and those who have been serving their sentences for a considerable amount of time.

Hurtado, who was initially reluctant to leave the prevention area and requested special considerations, was eventually transferred to his cell in Ward 5.

According to information from the program, since his arrival at the prison, ‘Chibolín’ has requested to be transferred to the prison on several occasions. Furthermore, he has seemed sad and quiet.
