In the same, they made several returns for the improvement of the Draft Law of “Cybercrime Classification”.
Some of the topics addressed were: Telematic Harassment, Physical or Virtual Approach, Computer Fraud, Computer Damage, Illicit Access to Computer Data, Data Violation, Computer Forgery, Identity Theft, Digital Terrorism, Non-Consensual Transactions and Registry of Cybercriminals.
We must legislate Cybercrime to be able to classify crimes that today are not explicitly contemplated in our Penal Code.
As the explanatory memorandum of the Draft Law makes explicit, it is intended to address a relevant and increasingly recurrent problem in our country and the world.
With the evolution of technologies, increasingly used in our daily lives (we make transfers, payments, upload photos, video, status, etc.) through the use of platforms and applications, which, without prejudice to their security, are often violated. or used to commit illicit acts.
Hence, the need arises for there to be a specific legal regulation of the system to deal with the so-called cybercrime.
In the fruitful meeting of the aforementioned Commission, Deputy Martín Melazzi and his advisor made valuable contributions in the line of considering the protection of natural and legal persons who operate day by day through the various digital channels to be of utmost importance, taking into account account the dynamic reality and the vertiginous technological changes.
