The program No Censorshipgives TV Brazil, receives today (14) the Minister of the Environment, Joaquim Leite, to talk about the Zero Methane Program, which will stimulate the transformation of greenhouse gas into biofuel. Also on the agenda are the global carbon market, solid waste management (Lixão Zero) and the Floresta + program. The program airs at 9pm.
Joaquim Álvaro Pereira Leite holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Marília (Unimar-SP) and a master’s degree in Executive MBA from the Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa (Insper), also in São Paulo. He was director of the Forestry Department of the Ministry of the Environment, in 2019. He held the position of secretary for the Amazon and Environmental Services of the ministry since April 2020. He was appointed holder of the portfolio in June 2021.
Alongside presenter Marina Machado, guest debaters Marcello D’Angelo, from BandNews, and Cassius Zeilmann, from CNN Brasil, talk to the interviewee. They will also address the Brazilian government’s measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, one of the agreements signed at COP26, held in 2021 in Glasgow, Scotland.
The program No Censorship airs on Mondays at 9pm, right after the soap opera The Slave Isaurawith broadcast throughout the country on open TV through broadcasters affiliated to the National Public Communication Network – TVmanaged by Brazil Communication Company (EBC) and other platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter and Youtube, where the public can participate using the hashtag #SemCensura.
