“At the moment there are five registered trademarks that include the name Capybara in different areas and in the name of various natural and legal persons, both national and foreign, who were granted registration for having complied with the requirements established in the law. of the matter”, specifies the Indecopi note.
Indecopi reported that it understands the concern of the merchants of these products regarding the Christmas campaign and denies having taken actions to prohibit the marketing of this type of items.
For this reason, he recalled that the registration of trademarks is being promoted so that businessmen and entrepreneurs have a tool that allows them to be more competitive in the market, thus contributing to the reactivation of the economy.
