Villahermosa, Tab., For the mandate revocation consultation, the polling place will not be installed in the community of Tepetitán, municipality of Macuspana, where President López Obrador was born, due to the fact that the National Electoral Institute (INE) regrouped electoral sections due to the lack of of resources.
Asked about the event, Mayor Julio Gutiérrez Bocanegra confirmed to the day that, effectively, the voting booth will not be placed in Tepetitán, which is a town, and the voters of that area will have to move to El Triunfo, second section, between the Aquiles Serdán and Límbano Blandín communities.
Tepetitán, which is section 924, is responsible for voting in section headquarters 938, located in the El Triunfo ranchería, where three other sections will also vote, because it is the one with the most voters, with 2,285; the others do not reach 400 voters. The distance from Tepetitán to the box is 15 kilometers, that is, 23 minutes by vehicle, detailed the INE.
