During the installation of the technical tablehe director of Invías, Jhon Jairo Gonzálezwho traveled to the municipality of Curiti To answer the call of the communities, he assured:
“I agree with them regarding the road. We know what happens on the section Zipaquirá–San Albertobut we are also aware of the natural phenomena that make it difficult to maintain it in the conditions that we would all like. Even so, we are here to respond to your concerns, within the scope that we have as National Government to fulfill commitments.”
During these two weeks of protestthe communities and transporters have been organized to carry out on their own maintenance work in different sections of the road corridor. In sectors like Pinchote, San Gil and El Socorrothe protesters advanced patching activities before the dissatisfaction due to the lack of institutional response.
