Early this Wednesday, Panama received the ninth batch with 72,000 pediatric doses of the vaccine against Covid-19, from the pharmaceutical company Pfizer.
The Ministry of Health explained that with this new shipment Panama reaches a total of 576 thousand pediatric doses. This has made it possible to immunize a large number of the child population aged 5 to 11 years.
To date, 32.7% of the pediatric population, up to 11 years of age, have received at least one dose of the anticovid vaccine.
In the same way, with the arrival of this batch, the vaccination day and the booster dose for people 16 years of age and older are resumed.
