The Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and AFP (SBS) declared nine savings and credit cooperatives subject to intervention regime for presenting negative assets within the framework of their supervisory and regulatory powers.
Through resolutions published this Wednesday in the newspaper El Peruano, the SBS pointed out that financial entities have an imbalance in their accounts.

According to article 3 of the Regulation of Special Regimes, the intervention arranged will have a duration of 45 days.
Here are the nine savings and credit cooperatives with negative equity:
- The SBS declared the submission to the Intervention regime of the Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Credicoop Arequipa having reported, as of June 30, a negative equity of the order of S / 199 million, as a result of the adjustments required through the inspection visit reports and the losses for the year, thus showing the total loss of capital stock and of the cooperative reserve.
- Cooperativa De Ahorro y Crédito Integra Asociados reported negative equity as of September 30, amounting to S / 112,468.16.
- Cooperativa De Ahorro y Crédito Grupo Prada Limitada showed, as of September 30, a negative equity amounting to more than S / 1 million, thus registering the total loss of the capital stock and the cooperative reserve.
- Another intervention is for the Cooperativa De Ahorro y Crédito Credisicuani Limitada for having, as of September 30, a negative equity amounting to S / 543,175.38, in such a way that it represents the total loss of the capital stock and the reserve.
- Cooperativa De Ahorro y Crédito Crediperubank LimitadaAs of September 30, it had a negative equity amounting to more than S / 4 million, thus showing the total loss of the capital stock and the cooperative reserve.
- Cooperativa De Ahorro y Crédito Inkacoop Ltda. it registered a negative equity amounting to more than S / 8 million, with which it has the total loss of the capital stock and the cooperative reserve.
- The same case was for the Cooperativa De Ahorro y Crédito Finanzas Solidarias Para La Exportacion Santa Asunción Ltda. that, as of September 30, it has a negative equity amounting to S / 720,111.45, thus showing the total loss of the capital stock and the cooperative reserve.
- Cooperativa De Ahorro y Crédito Grupo Integra LimitadaAs of September 30, it awarded a negative equity amounting to S / 81.18.13, thus showing the total loss of the capital stock and the cooperative reserve.
- The SBS declared the submission to the intervention regime of the Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Parroquia San Lorenzo Trujillo Ltda. having reported, as of September 30, a negative equity in the order of S / 29 million as a result of the adjustments resulting from the Inspection carried out by this Superintendency, thus showing the total loss of capital stock and the cooperative reserve.
According to the norm, as of the date of publication of these resolutions, it is prohibited to initiate judicial or administrative proceedings against cooperatives for the collection of debts under their charge, to pursue the execution of judicial decisions, to constitute liens on any of the assets of the cooperatives. entities, in guarantee of the obligations that concern him.
Make payments, advances or compensations, or assume obligations on behalf of the cooperative, with the funds or assets that belong to it and are in the power of third parties and constitute a precautionary measure against company assets.
